Who are we

What is Momentum and how can you get involved?
In the summer of 2015 something changed

We are part of Momentum, the grassroots network following on from the ‘Jeremy Corbyn for Labour Leader’ campaign.

Hundreds of thousands of people became engaged in politics for the first time, or re-invigorated after being disillusioned in recent years. Now we want to build a mass movement that can transform the country, and ultimately the world.

Democratically run by local people, for local people. For a new kind of politics.

  • Members and supporters can participate in Momentum, and help us build the movement.

  • We meet on the third Thursday of every month, at Balham Baptist Church, 21 Ramsden Road, London SW12 8QX

  • We'll be organising activities and campaigns locally, and participating in campaigns and activities run by local Labour Party branches, Trade Unions and others.

  • If you haven't done so already, now is the time to join Labour and become an active member. We can help you navigate the bureaucracy. And join a union and we'll help you unionise your workplace.
